ILLUSTRATING WELSH MEDIEVAL MILITARY HISTORY with a Wallchart etc, Western Mail to do?

.
.... Is that likely? why not the Western Mail our National News Paper, c'mon media men in Caerdydd I am sure you could get this up and running with RCAHMW & Cadw. Something to package with your weekly educational supplements in association with articles on Welsh Medieval Battles in your weekly TV supplement and your sister paper 'Wales on Sunday' could do the weekend Battlesite Tour features. Then, if your still publishing those wonderful small tourism and liesiure guides, why not one on Welsh Medieval Battles such would be excellent.
.
Keep in mind release of 1066 film next year, now being made in Wales of all places, so what about 1282 and all that? Just maybe the film 1066 will prompt the Welsh to take a much closer look and interest in their own medieval history and conquest by the Anglo - Normans. Whatever, above and below suggested publications could ride on back of 1066 film and please lets get this stuff out before we are over wealmed by a plethora of publications, Shakespeare Plays plus films and TV series about Henry V and the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Azincourt 1415 - 2015.
.
.Tie all this in with launch of forward going work on the Welsh Battlefield Register and you will be doing this work a favour, not least Wales a big favour and yourselves a big favour too and why not. Mean while if any media out there wants to plunder this blog for material for features, you are welcome to do so and use fotos in this blog but credit where credit is due please. Media as well as citizens note, my campaign and this blog is coming to a conclusion and thus closing down in time, so make as much of it as you can whilst it's still available to you.
.
I am thinking of using posts in this blog and other material in my Welsh Medieval History Archive as basis of a kind of Companion Book to Welsh Medieval Battlesites, any publisher out there interested in such get in touch ok! See below The Times contribution to the campaign for an English Battlefield Trust and Register, we have won the Welsh Battlefield Register but we still need a Welsh Battlefield Trust and a Welsh Miilitary History and Battlefields Interpretation centre and, why not in that closed down former Tourism Information Centre in Builth Wells. I return to calling for a conference on such worthy objective, see previous write ups on this in this blog.
